CHRIS COOK, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Chris Cook has led the company from a 10-person start up to a full-service firm providing engineering services to most of the Tier 1 telecom companies.  Chris is an extraordinary leader and industry expert who singlehandedly transformed the Outside Plant engineering industry with the creation of the “Off Prem” engineering model.  Under his leadership, CHC perfected this turnkey approach that allows CHC to plan, design and implement engineering solutions from start to finish with minimal oversight from the client.  

After studying at Sonoma State University, Chris began his successful telecom engineering career at AT&T.

Ryan Matthews

RYAN MATTHEWS, SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT – GENERAL MANAGEMENT & OPERATIONS

Ryan Matthews started his career journey with AT&T (formerly Southwestern Bell) as a design engineer. During his time at AT&T he held various position, earned an MBA, lead teams in different organizations. In 2016, he left AT&T as the Director of Engineering and Construction to join CHC Consulting as the Vice President - Engineering. CHC Consulting's leadership team, drive to innovate and dedication to service excellence drew him to the firm.

Ryan holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri Rolla and an M.B.A. from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

LORRIE POPE, PRESIDENT – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & TRAINING

Lorrie Pope is the President of AT&T Operations. She is an accomplished leader responsible for overseeing the entire nation-wide AT&T account. She has a hands-on approach to day-to-day operations, and individually trained engineers from the ground-up for Fiber to the Business, Fiber to the Cell Site and OPT-E-MAN projects. Prior to that, she spearheaded the training of engineers for AT&T’s Lightspeed project. She is an expert at managing large and diverse teams, as well as planning and implementing major organizational initiatives. She has a passion for maintaining a team oriented environment, and continues to be an active mentor to all CHC employees.

Prior to joining the CHC team in 2005, Lorrie worked at AT&T as an OSP Engineer responsible for the management and design of Telco facilities for residential customers in South Orange County. Lorrie Pope graduated Chapman University in 1999 with a BA in Public Relations.

James Jiranek

JAMES JIRANEK, SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT - AT&T OPERATIONS

James is well versed in the wireline and wireless telecom industries. His ability to recognize opportunity, build teams, create processes and provide a fulfilling work environment has given CHC the diversity it needs to be a stable and sought-after force in the industry. Prior to joining the CHC team in 2011, James worked at AT&T both as an employee and later as a contractor providing OSP Engineering Training, Project Management, Material Management and Process Development.

James holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of California Santa Barbara.


HEATHER WALDENMAYER, VICE PRESIDENT - FINANCE

Heather started with CHC in early 2018.  She is a hands-on financial officer drawing experience from Big 4 accounting firms and private enterprise. She has over a decade in the industry.  As former National Chair of the Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals, Heather has a deep background in the intricacies of the Engineering and Construction Industry’s unique accounting guidance and practical applications.   

Her Professional Designations include: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP), Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

Will Christen

WILL CHRISTEN, SVP TECHNICAL SERVICES - AT&T 

Will Christen has been with CHC since 2014 and brings over 20 years of industry experience in outside plant construction and engineering initiatives. He currently runs the PMO organization, helping to provide clarity on operations, and, bridge the distance between evolving processes and systematic platform solutions.   

Will holds a B.A. from University Of California Santa Barbara and Post-Graduate work from Georgia Tech.
